One Saturday a month, Back Creek Pottery studio is open 12-5, offering a simple project that artists of all ages and skill levels can walk in and make.

Come anytime between noon and 5.

Your artwork will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup 2-4 weeks from the date you make it.

No reservation necessary - Just come on in!

$20 per project

Workshops and Classes

We’re thrilled to welcome our local community into our studio! The workshops and classes listed here are our usual offerings, but we’re happy to accommodate special requests, including larger groups, private events, custom dates and times, or exclusive sessions for your party. Play in Clay

Pinch, coil, or handbuild a small item out of clay, and then paint it.

What will you make? A cup? A snake? A duck? Once you understand a few simple rules, you'll be empowered to make (almost) whatever you can dream.

Your clay piece will be dried, fired, and ready for pickup in 2-4 weeks.

$20 per person covers:

  • 1 lb. of clay
  • Underglaze (clay paint)
  • Glaze (glassy coating)
  • Kiln firing for your piece
  • Up to two hours of studio time to sculpt your masterpiece

Maximum 12 artists (please email me if you are requesting more). All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
