Honey

1 pound of local, raw honey straight from our hives next to Back Creek!

Here at Back Creek Pottery, we keep several hives of bees. These bees pollenate our gardens and trees and make a plentiful supply of wildflower honey. We extract the honey from the hives and bottle it in our studio once a year in the late summer. This honey is raw and unprocessed.

Raw honey naturally begins to crystallize as time passes. Crystallized honey is still just as good! Either spread it on your toast with a knife, or place the jar in a hot water bath, stirring until it gets runny again.
